Embracing patina without being overly precious, our interiors are unique, beautiful, and inviting. We design with American or regionally made furniture, comfortable upholstery, and an international mix of objects intended to provoke awe and spark conversation.

How We Work

The studio works on a small number of projects at a time so that Cameron can be closely involved with clients and the creative direction. We prepare necessary plans, schedules, and manage the design process from concept to installation. Our ambition is to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, exploring a variety of styles that speak to the people and places at their core.

Cameron Schwabenton established Cameron Stewart in 2007 and has over 20 years of design experience. Cameron is a natural-born creative and a scholar. Inherently, she loves exploring materials and concepts in new ways. Cameron brings her sophisticated taste level and highly curated approach to every project. Press features include House Beautiful, Traditional Home, New England Home, Cottages & Bungalows and Interior Design. Cameron is an NCIDQ certified interior designer with a Masters in Historic Preservation. Current projects include fine residences and commercial spaces in Historic Charleston, New York, and retreats in the coastal Carolinas. In her personal time, Cameron loves exploring historic sites, rescue dog training, and all realms of the health and wellness fields.
