Meet Cameron Schwabenton – Charleston Interior Designer
Cameron Schwabenton, founder of CAMERON STEWART, has over 20 years of experience in luxury interior design and historic preservation in Charleston, SC. As a NCIDQ-certified interior designer and LEED-accredited professional, Cameron blends classical architecture with a modern perspective.
She holds an Interiors degree from the University of Georgia and a Master’s in Historic Preservation from Clemson University, with additional studies at Parsons School of Design in Paris. Her global perspective influences her signature style, balancing old-world charm with contemporary sophistication.
Recognized as a New Trad, Rising Star of Design by Traditional Home Magazine, Cameron’s work has been featured in House Beautiful, Traditional Home, New England Home, Cottages & Bungalows, and Interior Design magazines. She has also participated in Interior Design magazine’s Hospitality Giants of Design event and is a winning Carolopolis Award applicant for historic preservation in Charleston.
When she’s not designing, Cameron enjoys exploring historic sites, fostering rescue dogs, and staying immersed in health and wellness—all of which inspire her creative process.
